How does the Neurofeedback session on the Brain-Trainer System work?
- The person sits in front of a screen.
- Sensors are connected to the head that will measure and transmit the signals captured by the brain.
- A computer program interprets these signals and returns them to the person.
- Whenever one of the objectives is achieved, positive reinforcement is offered in the form of images and sounds.
- The brain is trained to improve its patterns while a person watches a movie, reads, plays games or simply relaxes.
- As the sessions go by, the brain learns new ways of functioning, becoming more flexible and functional.

How does neurofeedback happen in practice?
You may be wondering: how do these trainings happen that are so powerful as to change brain frequency patterns?
In all sessions, sensors are placed on the head to capture signals from the brain. These signals are sent to an amplifier that decodes and forwards everything to a computer.
A program interprets these signals and shows the person, at all times, information about how their brain is functioning.
Discover what Neurofeedback is and how it works
Neurofeedback is a tool that aims to improve the physiological functioning of the brain, improving the patterns associated with our cognitive, physical and emotional capacity. Which helps your life change too!
It is a training that acts on the electrical functioning of the brain, creating new energy patterns. That’s why he’s so powerful!
The way we think, act, feel and behave is directly related to our brain activity.
Over time we develop energetic habits that become stable in our brains. Although they are all aimed at our best functioning, some may become less functional than others.
It is very difficult to change some unwanted habits with therapies, chemicals or conscious control techniques, as most of them are below our level of consciousness.
Training the brain’s electrical patterns can significantly improve your life, how about understanding what these electrical patterns are and what their role is in working with neurofeedback?
Brain Frequencies and Our Life
The electrical activity of the brain manifests itself through so-called frequencies or brain waves.
We can say that frequency is a measure of the speed of the activity of our neurons. The best known are 5: Delta, theta, alpha, beta and gamma.
Each of them is associated with specific types of functioning.

Survey of complaints and objectives.
First, a survey of the client’s complaints and objectives is carried out through an interview and an online questionnaire that was created to help assess the characteristics and mode of brain functioning.
Brain Mapping
Brain mapping is performed using the electroencephalography technique. Sensors are placed on the scalp and the electrical activities of the brain are collected and recorded so that a survey can be made of that person’s functioning patterns. The recordings are made with eyes closed, open and while performing focus, attention, calculation, reading and pattern identification tasks.
Data analysis and definition of
the training plan
The Brain-Trainer System offers a Program for complete analysis of all this data collected in the mapping. It generates graphs that make it possible to interpret and identify that person’s brain patterns. With this resource, it is possible to observe the main functioning patterns of that brain and identify which of them are most related to the person’s complaints and objectives. Based on this information, an individualized training plan is created that will be used throughout the sessions.
Training Sessions
Sensors capture signals from the brain and send them to a computer. The Program used by the Brain-Trainer System interprets these signals and returns them to the person, constantly showing how their brain is functioning. It is as if the brain is in front of a “mirror”. This process has great potential to help the brain regulate itself. Sound and/or visual signals are triggered according to the targets established for training and help the brain to modulate its functioning. By “observing” how it works, the brain starts to look for more efficient ways of activating. Throughout the sessions, the brain is challenged and stimulated to improve its performance and, as a result, advances begin to occur in the person’s daily life. She starts to sleep better, concentrate and relax more easily, her memory improves, she is able to be more attentive and focused and she starts to learn better. It becomes more emotionally balanced. All of this makes the brain want to seek these new patterns more constantly.
